Exciting Weekend

We're having a great weekend and here's why: First, of course our praise team, PS. 51, practiced yesterday afternoon and know what? We're getting better! We were actually able to run through our old stuff doing each song just once and that was enough! IT's so much fun. Then my long planned and anticipated fall party was last night. There were only 7 of us total (due to sitting space) but we had a great time. We played Apples to Apples the game my sister had and we also keep hearing rave reviews for it on the radio.
Today, I am very excited because I have a scrapbooking class (actually two of them) with one of my favorite scrapbookers. I can't believe it! It begins in less that four hours and I have lots to do before then. Hope your Sunday is just and exciting!

A Most-Needed Retreat

Two weekends ago we spent a short weekend in St. Augustine. It's the oldest city in the U.S. It was founded in the 1500's. (Of course it was origionally a Spanish settlement.) What a welcome retreat from the busy weeks since school started. It was a much appreciated break from the routine. Here is one of the pictures I have downloaded so far...more to come later. For some reason I can't get any others to upload.
