Adventurers

This was investurer at our church. Little Girl was graduating from Little Lambs to Eager Beavers. What I want to remember most about this night is a couple of things.

1. As she was marching in with the whole club, she was near the front. When she got to where we were sitting in the aisle, she stopped, gave her brother a hug and kiss and then gave me several too before getting back in line and heading to her spot.

2. She gets stage fright so much when she's up front. She was suppose to say a memory verse, but wouldn't do it. She just stood there, bent in half over the microphone, staring at the floor while her teacher waited on her. And when it was her turn to say one of the 10 commandments, she said, "Share." Ummm...yeah that's good, but not one of the ten.

What I'd like to forget about the whole thing is how hard it is for her to sit still for that long. At one point, her teacher took another child to the bathroom and she got out of her seat, went to the side aisle and started attempting some somersaults. Dad had to get up and go over there.

But we're still so proud of our little lady moving up to a new class and earning lots of patches this year, 16 to be exact. So fun! Can't wait to see them all on her new sash.
