What I'm Thankful for Today

I'm feeling a bit better today and was able to play with the babies. After taking my migraine medicine, I was feeling a lot better. This flu isn't going to kick me! Here's some of what we were up to today.

A letter came in the mail for each baby...all the way from Cambodia!

Daddy brought home a "craft" to do with his little girl. He bought some air-dry clay and they were going to make a bowl to hold her hair things...the little girl was too busy playing with the clay to be serious, so now they are saving it for another time.

Mr. Potato Head was a bit hit again.

Sissy and her Girl

Our little girl got this dolly from her Great Aunt Jan. I think it was for her first birthday. Since that time, they have been nearly inseparable. This is her go-to dolly. She named her Sissy...as she has named every one of her dollies. She takes her to lots of places: the park, the car, to school, on vacation, to the playhouse, around the neighborhood in a stroller, to tea parties, to the mall, shopping, and recently to bed. This dolly never wears clothes and needs a bath desperately. She giggles too when you squeeze her tummy. Who knew that nearly two years ago when this sweet little boy (who is now a girl ...gasp) came to our doorstep in a package that she would be the favorite of all dolls.

sick. but on vacation.
