What a busy week! I got home each night by about 9:30 after the CHIP program. The program is good, but I'm on a 7 day cleansing thing and that's not too much fun. It's mostly raw foods and I'm feeling hungry a lot because that is used up so fast. Four more days of that too go. Three more weeks of CHIP.
We have a little over three weeks of school and may have just lost another teacher. The pre-K teacher is in the hospital. She has a growth on her kidney. We're keeping her in our prayers. It's pretty scary. I had her class in my room on Friday...it didn't go well at all. First of all, when you teach K and 1 you have no spare time because as a class, they are just so needy...and I teach 2nd on top of that. So to add another class to it that are even needier...let's just say that we only did reading and it took all day. We just couldn't get to any other subject. We have a desperate need for subs, but all our subs are saying no...They will have to do something because that just isn't fair to the students in my class to not be able to learn what is in their curriculum. We'll see what happens.
