Bsuy, busy

Just a quick post. Got out of school on Tuesday at noon. I spent yesterday with a friend and co-worker watching movies and trying to scrapbook although nothing was working for me. I just worked on finishing up some journaling. I'm also trying to finish up Zach's Car's quilt. Hope he likes it.
We're getting ready to leave for the holidays. Going up north. I'm hoping to see our new nephew, Aiden. And of course the rest of the family. We'll be visiting lots with Rhett's family. We're looking forward to Christmas away this year.

It's not beginning to feel a lot like Christmas

We're not sticking around at home this Christmas and so I've talked myself into not getting a tree. It seems so...everyday around here. I don't like it at all. I can hardly even get into the Christmas music without the atmosphere of Christmas. Don't even have one (a tree) in my classroom either...but we have 3 1/2 more days before break and I can't wait!

The Wait is Over

I'm tired from my scrapbook classes. I took three classes today from one of my all-time favorite scrappers...Ali Edwards..YOu can see her blog at www.aliedwards.typepad.com I will definitely upload some stuff from class. We made three complete albums! We worked from 9-about 7:15 with two one-hour breaks for food. I'm too exhausted to upload tonight, but I just wanted to let everyone know that my sister had her baby yesterday. His name is Aiden Christopher. ..He weighed in at a hefty 9 pounds! Can't wait to see some pictures of that little guy.
