Final Storyboard for Photography Class

It's the final week of my online photography course. We had to create a storyboard of pictures around a general theme. This is my storyboard...so glad I had models to shoot pictures of. If you click on it, it will go bigger.

Pictures

We had another fun day in Tampa with our Friends, Larry and Erin. I got to practice taking pictures of them. Only a little more than two months until the big day for them. I'm so excited! Here are a few that I love. More to come...later.

Baby at the Wheel

We went to the fire station this afternoon so I could take pictures for some friends from church. This fire station is the Hilton of all fire stations and we got the grand tour. After the pictures were over, they even let Jade take one of these babies out for a spin.

Zach's Birthday

Our middle nephew turned eight today. We made a quick trip over to see him and to deliver gifts.

More Fun

Just a couple more...I couldn't decide. I DID narrow over a hundred down to these five though.

A Splashin' Good Time

We FINALLY got a chance to blow up Jade's froggie pool that she got for her birthday. We set it out in our backyard and let her splash and play. We couldn't have picked a better day...blue skies, plenty of sun, and hot, hot temperatures! She had a lot of fun. We'll have to do it again soon.

Sabbath School

Isn't this the cutest? ...Jade on her way in to Sabbath School. I love the purple purse!

Disney 2

Here are some more pictures from Rhett's Mom's camera. Two of these are from our trip through the "It's a Small World" ride. Jade danced and clapped her way through. She absolutely loved it. The other picture is of our boat on the "Peter Pan" ride. We had a really fun time. But I must mention that at lunch Jade had just woken up and before I got a chance to change her diaper, I felt something warm running down my leg...yes, she peed right on my lap. Then I had to walk around with wet shorts...talk about humiliating!

Disney

Rhett's parents just headed home today after visiting us for not quite two weeks. We had a nice visit. The highlight of the trip was going to Disney World. (They had never been before, so it was a new experience.) I didn't get as many photos as I would have liked because I was carrying the baby a lot, but here are some that Rhett's mom took...

I Just Love It...

I'm not sure who took this photo. And it is terribly dark, but other than that I just love it. I love that we're all together here (not many of those). I love how Rhett is tweaking Jade's chin and how she is looking back at him. The others from this series were too blurry to post, but she had a huge open-mouth smile on the next one. I was just going through all of her pictures from the past year and getting her baby book done when I stumbled upon this little gem.

Probably Didn't Need to Mention This...

I am officially on summer break.
I am enjoying every minute of it.
I am not getting as much done as I had hoped.
I am spending lots of time with my little girl.
I am home when Rhett gets off work.
I am able to relax more.
I am getting more done than while I was working.
I am starting some projects.
I am taking two photography classes.
I am trying to tackle of list of must-read books.
I am getting to watch Oprah and I will not let Rhett harass me too much about it.
