She enjoys every minute...oh for those carefree days. Just running, head back, in the sunshine. Having such fun in the backyard.

Sunday

Sunday you looked so big and so little at the same time. Big with the hat on that you were wearing on the horseback ride. And big because you were riding the horse all by yourself. But you looked so little up there all by yourself. And you were so cute too. Daddy and I were watching in delight as you experienced your first horse ride (you've been wanting to ride a horse for a while, so it was time.) This was our last zoo trip of the year and you loved every minute of it. You talked about the horse ride the rest of the day.

This Little Girl

This little girl....
Loves everything princess...
Loves playing with babies...
Loves her school...
Loves Baby Brother...
Wants to play in her playhouse all the time...
Enjoys going to the park...
Wants to wear socks all the time...
Can't stand having her clothes changed...
Won't leave her hair in pony tails very often...
Can eat...and eat...and...
Is full of energy...
Keeps us on our toes...
Got in trouble at school for "not keeping her hands to herself"...
Likes to draw and color...
Loves stickers...
Still reads a lot...
Thinks she's in charge...
Gets sent to her crib...some days more than others...
Can do somersaults...
Can count to 10 and say her abc's...
Is still learning her colors...
Needs to potty train...
Is now stuck on the nursery rhyme book so we read it nearly every night...
Is learning to say more in prayers than just "Dear Jesus..."
Is starting to have an opinion about what to wear...
Has said, "No more kisses...just one" already... (SERIOUSLY? WHAT?!)
Loves talking... and talking...and talking...
Enjoys talking to people on the phone...and on Skype...
Expresses her love for us...("I luh ooo")...
Likes Eskimo and butterfly kisses...
Loves to sing at the top of her lungs...on tune...
Uses her manners...please, thank you, and excuse me MUCH better than any of the classes I've taught...
Is a little princess...
Has a tender heart...
Loves praise...
Is thriving...
Is our special little girl.
And we love her very much!

A Day Off = a Wonderful Weekend

My sister and family came for the long weekend. We took a few minutes out of our busy schedules to take some family pictures before heading off to the aquarium. Later that night, my sis and I headed off for a girl's night out for my birthday (belated). Monday it was off to the zoo where we amazed to watch two elephants fighting.

You at Six Months

You're the perfect little guy.
Such a good little boy.
You can sit up from a lying down position now.
You roll front to back and back to front.
You get up on your knees and rock and roll.
You love your musical mirror.
You love flying elephant rides and turn to look at Mommy as if to say, "Hey Momma, look at me!" every time you turn.
You are awake much of the time.
You're learning to sleep longer at night and sleep in your own room.
You love baby food...all of it.
You get excited to see Momma each afternoon after work.
You are a happy guy that smiles easily.
You have two little teeth that are barely poking up.
You still sleep in your car seat.
You love bath time.
You love to play with toys.
You are one busy little baby.
You (and your sissy) are the joy of our lives.
