Hay!

I love seeing the hay fields in the fall. They always look so pretty. We saw a few bales sitting next to a feed store, so I asked Rhett to pull over on our way back from the pumpkin patch. I think it was well worth it.

Pumpkin Patch

Baby Girl had a fun time at the pumpkin patch. She was so excited to pick out her own little pumpkin. Later at home, 5 spotted her with one of her dollies on her lap...and the pumpkin. She was telling her dolly all about it. :)

Pumpkin Carvin'

We carved our pumpkin the other day. Little Girl wasn't so sure, but the dude loved it. He wanted to get in on it, but we had to put him in his little play station until we could finish. Baby Girl decided it was O.K. toward the end and decided to get in on the action.

This week you got in trouble for not wanting to remove this hat. You're obsessed with hats lately and want to wear one every second of the day including bedtime (which we let you) and bath time (which we do not). At school you were asked to remove this hat for breakfast. You had a fit (your first one at school by yourself). Mrs. Shreka told you if you wanted to eat you had to remove it. You decided you'd rather not eat than remove it. Daddy said you are no longer allowed to wear the hat to school. Now that it has been cool in the mornings, you're wearing a jacket to school. Now it is the jacket that you are having fits about removing. Seriously as it warms up to the mid 80's in the afternoons, you STILL don't want to remove it. There have been some tears over that...as well as when asked to remove your socks to go outside. I'm sure this is all a phase that we'll look back on with smiles when it is over.
