Sadly, summer is over for us. Here are a few snaps I never got loaded up. I have tons more...but this will be all for now.

First Day of School

Yesterday was our first day of school. Little Miss was SO excited. She has talked about this day for months...and it was finally here. She LOVED her uniform and smiled a great big smile at me when we got her all dressed up. Her first day was exciting and wonderful. I heard all about it the whole way home. Her favorite thing at school was the play phone. And that night when we were getting ready for bed, she asked if she could sleep in her uniform shirt.

End of Summer Beach Trip

My last day of summer break was this week. We ended up taking a picnic to the beach for supper and then letting the kids run in waves. Little Mr. kept yelling as the water came in on the beach and onto his feet, "No! Go away!" Finally, he got used to it and went in a little bit. He isn't much for swimming. He whimpers when we go to the pool. He doesn't get in the baby pool very often when we fill it up. Big Sis on the other hand LOVES the water...unless it gets on her face. If that happens, everything stops until she can go and dry her face off. (This is true even in the bathtub.)
