The exciting thing is that we found two little squirrels...a boy and a girl who were blown out of their nest during a storm. They were beside my classroom door. We're raising one of them at the school...the boy unfortunately sustained life-threatening injuries during the fall and did not make it to the end of the first day. I say this is exciting, but really I wish it had not happened at all. But since it did happen, it is exciting to watch the little squirrel who is still without a name. The kids are really enjoying watching it.Last night we FINALLY were able to go out for Valentine's day. We had been talking about going to this restaurant, Maggiano's that we've never been to before but have seen and talked about numerous times. Rhett was sick Valentine's day so that was postponed. Last night he was feeling up to it, so we made the trip to Tampa only to find out that there was a 1 1/2 -2 hour wait time to be seated! Needless to say at 6:30, we didn't feel up to waiting that long, so we ended up at our old standby....Bucca di Beppo...where the food is good, but the atmosphere is extremely tacky. We made plans to return to Maggiano's sometime soon, but to be sure and book reservations ahead of time...Lesson learned.
