Right after I got home I asked Jade if she wanted to go get our Christmas tree. She kept jumping up and down and shouting, “Yeth! Yeth! Yeth!” (I just love how she says yes.) Before we left, she led me to her Advent Calendar to remind me that she needed to pull out another drawer. She was excited. Today she got a “munka” as she calls monkeys. It was a tiny stuffed animal and she hugged it right to her neck and then laid it carefully in her dolly bed.
Afterward, we went to Lowes to get a tree. Jade was taking everything in. Then we stopped by Dairy Queen for a blizzard (peanut butter cup for me and chocolate extreme for Rhett….Jade shared mine). And we made a run to the pizza store for some “peetzy” too.
