Today I am thankful for:
1) Baby Boy learning his first word. It actually happened two days ago on Tuesday. I heard it, but only barely and was not sure. Then yesterday I heard it again...I thought. But today, BOY OH BOY, did I hear it! What was that precious little first word? "Ma-ma-ma-ma." And he said it as he crawled as quickly as he could straight toward me. He only stopped repeating it over and over when I scooped him up in my arms. I love my little boy so much. Baby Girl started out with "Dada." I wonder if this is any indication that we could have a momma's boy and a daddy's girl. Hmmmm.. only time will tell I guess.
2) My bi-weekly massage. It's massage night again tonight. And in a matter of minutes I will be relaxing beneath the experienced hands of a certified massage therapist in the comfort of my own living room. Ahhh....Best part? It's free! That makes it even sweeter.
3) The internet. Sometimes it can be a curse, I guess. But overall in my experience, it has been a blessing. It brings me in closer contact with the people I love. I stay up to date on what is going on with them since it is much easier. And where else could I talk face to face with my parents half-way around the world. LOVE IT!
4) Wal-mart. I know some people are absolutely against this giant. But not me. Where else do you get one stop shopping? And the prices can hardly be beat...expect for the farmer's market or couponing.
5) Coupons. I LOVE getting paid to buy something. My best-ever deal was like $4 back per item I bought. I made around $20 dollars because I had 6 coupons. And I just rolled that $20 over into the other necessities in my cart. Ahhhh...saving money. I think it's like a challenge or scavenger hunt. I really do enjoy seeing how much I save each time I go to Publix. And the service...you just can't touch it. They'll even walk you to your car and unload. The kids STILL get free cookies. And the people are ALL friendly. No wonder the 65 plus club loves them so much. They grew up with service. (Unlike the gen-xer's)
So what are you thankful for tonight?
There are of course a million little things!
