Life's Little Blessings

So thankful for many small things today.

1) The babies fell asleep quickly. That's a real blessing these days. It used to be easy for our 2 year old...but not since last fall. Tonight she dozed easily, as did Baby Boy.

2) Thankful for the rain. I love rainy days for some reason. It was nice to have some rain this evening, but I'm glad it held off until the babies and I could go out back to play for a while together. That was so important since it's been so rainy lately and they've been housebound because of it.

3) Thankful for the babies playing so nicely this evening. There was not much in the way of fussing or fighting. I tried extra hard to keep them busy. Baby girl played outside with her dolls, inside she painted and glued, she got to play pizza parlor, and read some books too. Baby Boy played outside, got his breathing treatment, played with the musical mirror, did a puzzle with Mommy, and read some books. I love when they play so nicely.

4) Thankful for my fuzzy blanket. It's such a little thing, I know. But it sure does make it so cozy and warm in my bed when I blast myself at night with the cool air of my fan. Plus it is a beautiful aqua color. It just makes me so happy.

5) Thankful for getting most of the dishes done tonight. I haven't had a chance until now with all the other things I've been up to.
