So Thankful...

I'm thankful for many things. Here's my list, narrowed down for today to just five.

1) I'm so thankful that my mom taught me to sew. I think she started when I was like three or four with the lessons in hand sewing first and then when I started first grade, I began on the machine. (Sounds like I'll have to start my Baby Girl soon. Lately, I've had tons of ideas swirling in my mind of things I want to do. I hope I can find the time. I have a little surprise I'm trying to make to use at Baby Boy's first party. We'll see if I can figure it out from pictures and put it into a 3D model that looks as spectacular as the ones I've seen. (If I succeed, I will post the final product here.)

2) Thankful for a little park hunt today. Since getting a gps, I've wanted to find some more parks in our area. We found a new hidden treasure a few weeks ago and today we were able, after a couple of false alarms, to find two that looked fun. We stopped by one of them at it was a hit.

3) Thankful that Baby Girl is advancing in so many ways. One of the things I've noticed lately is that when we go to the park, she always wants to swing on the regular swings and not just the baby ones anymore. She does so well at holding on.

4) Thankful for beautiful music in church today. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PANiveIKVX0 A wonderful singer performed this song. It was such a blessing.

5) Thankful for creativity. I thoroughly enjoy the creative process. I need to find a time to work this into my life more often. So many ideas, so little time.
