Today I am thankful ...
1) That I get to be their safe-haven. When Daddy is teasing Baby girl and tickling her and chasing her and making crazy faces and sounds at her, I get to be her base. She runs into my arms. She tells Daddy to go away and tells me to tell him too.
2) That tomorrow they all have the day off. Wish I could be spending the day with my favorite people all day, but I am thankful that they have a day together. I know it will be a good one.
3) That Baby boy's cough and congestion is lessening. He keeps getting colds and sniffles off and on. I'm glad he's on the mend. It's miserable being sick, especially when you're so little and don't understand why you feel so blah.
4) That it has been raining today. Sometimes I really like when it rains during the school day because we get to stay in the classroom for recess. It's great because I get to do some things I need to finish up. I love it.
5) That my downstairs is almost ready for Sabbath already. Now I won't have to rush around as much tomorrow. That will be nice. Maybe I'll have a few minutes to enjoy time with the family too.
